Neighborhood In Transition

In my neighborhood, more and more abandoned houses await demolition. Whole blocks are being fenced off, with all doors and windows boarded up to prevent people in need of shelter from moving in, and some mailboxes still hold forgotten letters.

Some blocks were decorated with stock photos of animals in funny poses to make things look less run-down and depressing. I’m not sure if this has the desired effect.

It is a neighborhood in transition.
